Release/Re-test valve: A button on the side of the gauge allows the user to release the pressure after a test is completed, so they can test the next cylinder. Hose assembly: This flexible, high-pressure hose connects the gauge to the engine adapters, allowing access to hard-to-reach areas. Some kits include a 90° swivel coupler for improved access in confined spaces. Adapters: A comprehensive kit includes a wide array of specialized adapters that allow the gauge to connect to many different engines. These adapters come in two main types: Dummy glow plug adapters: These are used to test compression through the glow plug ports. Injector adapters: These are used when testing through the injector ports. Clamps and spacers: Some kits include clamp-on adapters, which are useful for vehicles where the injectors are held in place by a clamp or claw.
